Now, flip this feeling so it spins in the opposite direction, spin it faster and faster until it starts to change…colour or shape and….feel the emotion change too, as it changes, push it back inside of you, replacing the old feeling with the new. Push the feeling outside of you, so you can imagine seeing it floating and spinning in front of you. Imagine you can see this feeling inside of you. Imagine that you feel anger right now, notice where it is that the anger feeling is inside of you? How does it move? Up or down, in or out? Most people feel the feeling of anger in their stomach spinning around and around often getting stronger and stronger. Your emotion isn’t still, its moves inside of you. If not you need to create control, decide whether or not to open or close the damn gates. When you feel an emotion love or hate, joy or sadness, calm or anger, you must first ask yourself if this is the right emotion for the right time? You can purposely control your emotions, accessing the right emotional response for the right situation The damn doesn’t stop the flow of water in its path, instead it controls the river water using it for its own purpose. Sometimes you will open the floodgates and allow the raging water to pour down the steep banks of the damn walls, the powerful water creating powerful energy that is used to positively light the world.īut then, when you need to, you can close the emotional damn doors, creating calmness and control. A damn controls the release of the water as your mind can control which emotion you feel. Your emotions, like a river, can be tamed and controlled. Around the next bed, and unexpectedly, the calm crashes down the rocks, rapid rapids boil the water, powerful waves knock rocks out of the way. Sometimes they feel smooth and gentle like wide flat slow moving river, flowing steadily through the plains of Africa. Your emotions aren’t stuck, instead they flow like a river.
